Queens, NY punk rockers Bayside have announced a string of intimate headline dates in the UK. The band will be in Europe in May, supporting the deluxe reissue of their Hopeless Records album ‘Cult’ (released March 03).
While watching many of their peers enjoy rapid success and a subsequent decline, Bayside has quietly soldiered on. Their slow-burning career has earned them one of the most dedicated fan bases in rock, and one that continues to grow to this day. Fifteen years into an impressive career, the band is still expanding its reach and making its best records, further cementing its status as a legacy act.
Of the tour, vocalist/guitarist Anthony Raneri said “We can’t wait to finally get over to the UK and Europe for a headline tour. We’ve been touring there for 10 years and have never given the fans a chance to see us play for more than 30 or 40 minutes. Touring internationally is still always a rush for me. It’s such a trip to see people singing along to songs so far away from where I wrote them. Sometimes people who speak different languages.”
